As our client moved into their new East Village pre-war apartment, we were asked to transform the dining room into a flexible, multi-use space through custom built-ins, a bespoke dining table, as well as sourcing lights and art.
Crafted from mahogany wood and raw brushed aluminum, the cabinetry and table establish a shared material language. The central opening within the millwork creates space for a projector while serving as a visual pause.
Oversized 7-inch table legs contrast the refined double-layered tabletop, while curvature carries through the cabinet pulls and interior shelving to create continuity across the project.
